The kookaburra is a native Australian bird, prolific in many parts of the country. It comes from the kingfisher family. A kookaburra's call is like very loud laughter. They are prolific in many parts of Australia and when they are in large groups the cacophony is deafening. This week our theme for the Three Muses is BIRDS. Have fun.
