The Three Muses Challenge - AUTUMN

Our theme this week is AUTUMN for all my friends in the northern hemisphere.  Spring is bustin' out all over here on the other side of the planet.
A colorful autumn is unfamiliar to me as I live in a part of the world where trees are evergreen and the leaves drop only when they are past their use-by date.  However, I have seen a New England autumn and it has left me with memories of brilliant, earthy colours.  What does autumn mean to you?

    my entry. Marie all of our natives are in flower so it is a yellow and green with a touch of red Spring. Great challenge

    Beautiful sample! Living in Norway I cannot say that Autumn is my favorite time of year. Too much rain! But I can always sit in my chair and read a good book, instead of walking in the rain:).
