Take a Word - Seashells

One of my most pleasant memories is that of collecting seashells on a family vacation in Fort Meyers Beach, Florida.   I put my treasures in the sun on the steps outside our unit.  One of the shells kept getting moved.  It took a day or two before I discovered I'd inadvertently collected a shell that was home to a hermit crab!   We still laugh about my "walking shell" !!  I hope this challenge conjured up pleasant memories for each of you!   See my blog for credits.   ....   Bev

Three Muses - Vintage Family

"We all grow up with the weight of history on us.  Our ancestors dwell in the attics of our brains, as they do in the spiraling chains of knowledge hidden in every cell of our bodies."  ~Shirley Abbott
I love that quote, and I so believe that it is true!  See my blog for credits.
