THREE MUSES #92 - Ancestor

In her later years, my mother gave me her grandmother's photo album.  It was one of those wonderful old leather-bound albums with windowed pages for cabinet card photos.  By the time I received it, the pages were tattered and only a few photos remained, all unidentified.  The young man above is one of those.  I like his earnest expression and square jaw.   We share DNA, but I don't know who he is.   The benevolent face in the mist behind the Family Record is that of my grandmother.  I wish she had written his name on the back of his photo!
